Refund and Returns Policy

At CACP (Construction, Agricultural & Civil Products), we want you to be satisfied with your survey stakes and pegs. This policy sets out when returns, refunds and replacements are available. It applies in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which we do not seek to exclude.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in this policy limits these rights.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged, is faulty, or is not what you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement, repair or refund as appropriate. Where possible, please include photographs of the goods and the issue, along with your order number, to help us resolve it quickly.

Change-of-mind returns

If you have ordered the wrong product or no longer need it, we may accept a change-of-mind return within 14 days of delivery, at our discretion. To be eligible:

  • The goods must be unused, in original condition and in their original packaging or bundling.
  • The goods must not have been marked, painted, cut or otherwise altered.
  • You must contact us first to arrange the return — please do not send goods back without confirmation.

Change-of-mind returns may be subject to a restocking fee, and the cost of return freight is the customer’s responsibility. As a timber product, stakes and pegs that have been exposed to weather, moisture or site conditions cannot be accepted as a change-of-mind return.

Custom and bulk orders

Products supplied to a custom specification, cut to order, or supplied as a special bulk or pallet order are made or allocated specifically for you and are generally not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law for faulty or misdescribed goods still apply.

Refunds

Where a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow a reasonable period for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
