How CACP collects, uses and protects your personal information
Last updated: September 2026
CACP (Construction, Agricultural & Civil Products) is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information.
1. Who we are
CACP is an Australian business supplying FSC certified hardwood survey stakes and pegs to survey and civil companies across Australia. Our primary warehouse is located at 4/117 Grindle Rd, Rocklea QLD 4106. You can contact us at admin@cacp.com.au or on 0435 736 016.
2. What information we collect
We collect personal information that is necessary to process your orders and provide our services. This may include:
- Your name and the name of your business
- Your email address and phone number
- Your delivery and billing address
- Purchase order numbers, delivery site details and payment references (we invoice by EFT — no card details are collected on this website)
- Order history and purchase preferences
- Communications you send to us via email, phone or our contact form
We collect this information directly from you when you send an order enquiry, contact us by phone or email, or submit the contact form on our website. We do not require you to create an account.
3. How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- Process and fulfil your orders
- Communicate with you about your orders and enquiries
- Send order confirmations, invoices and receipts
- Improve our products and services
- Comply with our legal obligations
We will not use your personal information for marketing purposes without your consent.
4. How we store and protect your information
Your personal information is stored securely on our website platform (WordPress/WooCommerce hosted by GoDaddy) and in our business systems. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
We do not take card payments through this website. Orders are confirmed by us and invoiced for payment by bank transfer, so no card details pass through or are stored on our systems.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with:
- Freight and logistics providers to fulfil your delivery
- Our accounting software (Xero) for invoicing and financial records
- GoDaddy as our website hosting and email provider
- Google (Analytics and Ads) and Cloudflare, whose services help us measure website use and block spam, as described in section 6
These third parties are only provided with the information necessary to perform their specific function and are required to protect your information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Some of these providers (Google, Cloudflare, GoDaddy and Xero) store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. By using our website or placing an order you consent to this overseas disclosure, and we take reasonable steps to ensure those providers handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
6. Cookies and website analytics
Our website uses cookies to enable core functionality such as your enquiry list and to remember your preferences. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website (pages viewed, device type, approximate location); this data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. We also use the Google Ads tag, which may set cookies so that we can measure enquiries and, if we choose to advertise, show our products to people who have visited this site. Our forms are protected by anti-spam checks (Cloudflare Turnstile and an invisible honeypot field) which may process your IP address and browser information for that purpose only.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, however this may affect the functionality of our website.
7. Access and correction
You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to request corrections if that information is inaccurate or incomplete. To make a request, contact us at admin@cacp.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
8. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us in the first instance at admin@cacp.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
9. Changes to this policy
